Day 1: September 14th, 2023 – Amman

Reception by one of our representatives at Amman International Airport. Transfer to the hotel for check-in and luggage drop-off. Rest of the day free to start experiencing the capital city on your own. Opportunity to walk through its streets and mingle with the local people, as well as dine at a local restaurant to taste some of Jordan’s typical dishes. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 2: September 15th, 2023 – Amman / Madaba / Mount Nebo / Panoramic Shobak / Petra

Breakfast. Departure to Madaba to visit the historic Orthodox Church of St. George, where the first mosaic map of Palestine is located (a Byzantine mosaic map of the Holy Land dating back to the 6th century, showing Jerusalem and other cities). We will continue to Mount Nebo to admire the unique view of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea from the mountain. This place is important because it was the last place visited by Moses and from where the prophet glimpsed the promised land, which he would never reach. Mount Nebo is considered one of the holiest places in all of Jordan. It features ruins from the 4th to 6th centuries with wonderful mosaics adorning the grounds of the still-visible church. Travel through the desert via Wadi Musa to Petra. Dinner and accommodation in Petra.

Day 3: September 16th, 2023 – Petra / Wadi Rum

Breakfast. The long-awaited day has arrived. Today we will visit one of the most spectacular places in the world: PETRA. Visit the also known as the “Rose City,” the capital of the Nabateans. During the visit, we will explore its most important and representative monuments carved into the rock by the Nabateans. The Treasury, a famous and internationally known monument featured in one of the Indiana Jones movies, the colorful tombs, and the Royal Tombs. Petra is one of those places in the world that must be visited at least once in a lifetime. The ancient capital was founded by the Nabateans 2000 years ago. Its enormous architectural structure and multicolored stones are a fascinating attraction. Immerse yourself and delight in the history of this incredible place. You will personally witness one of the most photographed places in the world. In the afternoon, transfer, dinner, and accommodation in a camp in Wadi Rum.

Day 4: September 17th, 2023 – Wadi Rum / Amman

Breakfast. Visit Wadi Rum, the desert of Lawrence of Arabia. Take a 2-hour ride in 4×4 vehicles driven by Bedouins. It consists of an excursion through the lunar landscape of this desert. We will venture into the pink sands of the desert, which has a special charm provided by the granite massifs that nature has shaped into whimsical forms. Wadi Rum is the largest desert in all of Jordan and one of the most spectacular desert landscapes in the world. Transfer and return to Amman, the capital of the country. Dinner and accommodation in Amman.

Day 5: September 18th, 2023 – Amman / Amman Airport

Breakfast. Free day to experience Jordan on your own. Visit downtown Amman and discover the beauty and charm of its everyday life mingling with the local people. Walk through its streets, enter the mosques, and listen to the impressive chant of the muezzin. Enjoy at your leisure the traditional dishes of this country. At the scheduled time, transfer to Amman International Airport.
